(Emmetsburg)– Three people were injured Sunday in a car/semi accident in Palo Alto county.
The Iowa State Patrol says the mishap involved a 1995 Ford Aspire driven by 72-year-old Charyle Wolfe of Estherville and a 1999 Mack truck driven by 37-year-old Richard Guidry of Havelock.
Wolfe and Guidry and a passenger in the vehicle driven by Wolfe, 63-year-old Ambrose Hatting of Estherville, were taken by ambulance to the Palo Alto County Hospital in Emmetsburg. Information on their condition wasn’t available.
Authorities say Wolfe was westbound and crossed into the eastbound lane, colliding with the semi.
The mishap was reported around 3:40 p.m. Sunday on Highway 18 about a mile and-a-half east of Emmetsburg.
