Car Collides With Light Pole; Minor Injuries Reported

(Sibley)– Minor injuries were reported Monday when a car collided with a light pole in Sibley.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 21-year-old Bryan Hayenga of Sibley was driving a 1974 Chevrolet Corvette nrothbound on Second Avenue at the intersection with 10th Street when he lost control and skidded into the pole.

Hayenga sustained possible injuries but refused immediate medical attention.

3,500-dollars in damage was estimated to the vehicle; the pole, owned by the city of Sibley, sustained an estimated two thousand dollars in damage.
