(Storm Lake)– Minor injuries were reported Sunday evening when a vehicle collided with a four-year-old child on a skateboard in Storm Lake.
The Iowa State Patrol says 43-year-old Jeffrey Sleezer of Storm Lake was westbound on Pheasant Avenue when the child who was on a skateboard rolled down a driveway into the path of Sleezer’s vehicle.
The child, identified as four-year-old Owen Keenan, was taken by ambulance to Buena Vista County Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake.
No injuries were reported to Sleezer.
The incident took place shortly before 7:30 p.m.
No charges were filed as a result of the mishap.
