(West Okoboji)– An electrical malfunction has been ruled as the probable cause of a fire that destroyed a camper this (Wed.) morning at White Oaks Campground in West Okoboji. A representative of the State Fire Marshall’s Office made the determination late this (Wed.) morning.
The Milford Fire Department was called to the scene around 5:42 a.m. Assistant Fire Chief Gayle Clark says the camper was totally engulfed when they arrived.
The camper is owned by Cyclone Security of Seargeant Bluff.
Clark says no one was in it at the time and no injuries were reported.
