(Sheldon)– Two Sheldon men have been arrested and charged in connection with a series of burglaries to farm places in the Sheldon and Archer areas.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says 20-year-old Dustin Blessman and 21-year-old Troy Scott were each charged with three counts of third degree burglary…a class “D” felony; one count of fourth degree theft…a serious misdemeanor; and one count of criminal trespass…a simple misdemeanor.
The two were booked into the O’Brien county jail. Bond was set at 9,750-dollars each. Scott was released after posting that amount.
Authorities say the burglaries occurred in the early morning of Saturday, April 19th at four separate residences. They say most of the stolen property was recovered as the result of searches conducted on Blessman’s and Scott’s residences in Sheldon.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the investigation by the Sheldon Police Department.
