(Fostoria)– The Milford Fire Department was called to the scene of a barn fire Tuesday night.
Fire Chief Don Eckard says they were called to the Justin Stahley farm four and-a-half miles south and a litte west of Milford around 10:00 p.m. Eckard says sparks from a nearby corncrib that was being burned down fell onto the barn, starting it on fire.
The barn, which was empty, was pretty much destroyed by the blaze.
Firefighters were able to keep the blaze from spreading to a nearby house and garage.
No injuries were reported.
Firefighters were on the scene about an hour and-a-half.
Milford firefighters were assisted by the Fostoria Fire Department which helped haul water to the scene.
