Arnolds Park Names Assistant Police Chief

November 23, 2014

(Arnolds Park)– An officer that’s been on the force five years has been named Assistant Chief of the Arnolds Park Police Department. Al Krueger was appointed to the newly established position earlier this week by the city council.

Chief Clark Reekers says Krueger will assist him with many duties and help coordinate many of the current and new programs the department is initiating.

The Arnolds Park Police Department has four full-time and 10 reserve officers. And Reekers says they plan to recruit 10 more reserve officers.

Prior to working in Arnolds Park, Krueger was an officer with the Milford Police Department and a jailer at the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office. He graduated from the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy in June of 1993 and is a Defensive Tactics Instructor.
