(Arnolds Park)– There will be change in the tax levy for the upcoming fiscal year in the city of Arnolds Park.
City Administrator Ron Walker says the council opted to keep the levy at $6.85 per thousand dollars of valuation…the same as the current fiscal year.
Walker says the council was able to keep the levy the same without having to make any major cuts to the budget. But he cautions Arnolds Park residents could be seeing some hikes in utility fees in the near future. Walker says the council may be looking at the possibility of increasing sanitary sewer and garbage rates, which haven’t been adjusted for several years.
Walker adds the budget for the upcoming fiscal year reflects a continuation of some capital improvements to streets and other infrastructure.
