(Arnolds Park)– The city of Arnolds Park has landed a 75-thousand dollar REAP Grant through the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
City Administrator Ron Walker says it’ll be used to construct a recreational trail along a portion of Broadway Avenue near the Maritime Museum to Highway 71; and along Okoboji Grove Road to the city limits.
The project has an estimated cost of 84-thousand dollars.
Walker says they hope to get bids on the project this fall or winter. Construction would start next spring.
