(Arnolds Park)– The Arnolds Park City Council has slapped a temporary moratorium on requests for funding.
Council members took the action last week…saying they, like other Dickinson county governmental entities, are being bombarded with such requests. They want to come up with a procedure for dealing with them.
There’s been a similar discussion by the Dickinson County Board of Supervisors.
The issue is expected to be a topic of discussion at an upcoming Dickinson County Council of Governments meeting.
Requests for funding are expected to mount even more as city and county governments begin their budgeting processes.
