(Arnolds Park)– Some streets in Arnolds Park are about to get a little brighter.
The city council has awarded a bid of 348,787-dollars from K-W-S for decorative street lights to be installed along West Broadway between Highway 71 and Lake Street; along Lake Street between the State Pier and Highway 71; along the bike path near the State Pier; and along the extension of Dam Road. K-W-S was the only company to submit a bid.
Up to 142-thousand dollars of the cost will be covered by a federal enhancement grant the city has received from the Department of Transportation.
