(Arnolds Park)– More road construction is about to get underway in Arnolds Park.
The city council earlier this week awarded the low bid of 108,284-dollars from Rohlin Construction of Spencer for paving Katrina and Caritta Streets. The bid came in below the engineer’s estimate of 144-thousand dollars.
The bid is for asphalt paving. A bid for concrete was much higher…at 152,590-dollars.
The project, which includes concrete curb and gutter and sidewalks on both sides of the two streets, is slated for completion yet this fall.
A portion of the project is being assessed to property owners along the two streets.
