Arnolds Park Announces Concert Venue

(Arnolds Park)– The Iowa Great Lakes Maritime Museum Tuesday released a partial list of concerts to be held this coming summer at the Majestic Pavilion, Roof Garden and Green Space at the Arnolds Park Amusement Park.

Luney Tune Karaoke contests will again be featured Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. at the pavilion; the Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association will once again present a series of concerts on Thursday evenings June 16th through August 18th with its annual Hall of Fame ceremony set for September 4th.

16 concerts are scheduled for the green space June 4th through September 3rd. Shows already booked are Tonic Sol-fa June 4th; Cactus Hill and Shawn Meyer June 18th; Chubby Carrier June 25th; Damon Dotson July 2nd; the Nadas and Dazy Head Mazy July 3rd; Kory and the Fireflies July 4th; the Whitesidewalls July 9th; Colgate Country Showdown August 6th; the Magnificent Board of Directors August 13th and Monkey’s Uncle August 20th.

Roof Garden and green space concerts will be free of charge.

A news release says park management is pursuing several big-name acts for the green space with dates and ticket information to be announced.
