Armstrong Man Charged In Alleged Incident At An E’Ville Bar

November 23, 2014

(Estherville)– An Armstrong man has been charged in connection with an alleged incident early last Saturday at an Estherville bar.

Police say they were called to the People’s Pub in downtown Estherville after getting a report of a person whose neck had been cut. A preliminary investigation determined the injury was the result of a physical altercation between the injured person and a man identified as 37-year-old Curtis Ray Lind of Armstrong.

After a further investigation, Lind was arrested and charged with willful injury. He was booked into the Emmet county jail.

Authorities say their investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Estherville Police Department.
