(Armstrong)– A northwest Iowa fire department is one of eight in the state to receive funding in the latest round of grants from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
The Armstrong Fire Department will receive 61,200-dollars through FEMA’s Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program.
The funds can be used for training, to establish wellness and fitness programs for firefighters and purchase equipment.
