(Milford)– Still no word as to who will become Milford’s new Police Chief.
Approval of the Mayor’s appointment to the position was on Monday’s city council agenda. But City Administrator Brian Reed says the item was removed at the last minute. He says they want more time to visit with the finalist for the position.
The city has until December 1st in which to appoint the new chief, and Reed expects the matter will be back on the agenda next month.
Long time Chief Steve Zimmerman retired this past summer.
