(Arnolds Park)– Some Arnolds Park residents want to build an outdoor skate and bicycle park in memory of Alex Danbom, who lost his life in an accident last summer.
They’re requesting the city’s involvement, and presented their preliminary plans to the Arnolds Park City Council Wednesday.
No cost estimates have been assembled yet.
The group said they’d like to see the facility located at Sawmill Park. They said the outdoor skate and bike park would be supervised at all times, and helmets would be required.
The council took no action on the matter, which was referred to the city’s Park Board.
