AP Council Adopts Plans & Specs For Carita, Katrina Projects

November 23, 2014

(Arnolds Park)– Work is about to get underway on two more streets in Arnolds Park as construction continues on the Highway 71 enhancement and cemetary retaining wall projects.

The city council Wednesday approved the final paperwork and adopted plans and specifications for the rennovations of Carita and Katrina streets. The council took the action following a public hearing that drew a few questions but no opposition.

The project includes replacing the pavement on the streets and widening them to 26 feet. Curb and gutter will be installed along with a sidewalk on both sides of the two streets.

A bid on the projects will be awarded later this month.

Both streets are scheduled for completion by November 30th of this year.
