(Spencer)– John Allen is resigning as President and CEO of Spencer Hospital effective June 30th. He’s accepted a position as President and Chief Executive Officer of Good Samaritan Health Systems in Kearney, Nebraska, where he starts on or before July 26th.
Allen has been President and CEO of Spencer Hospital since October of 1998.
In a statement, Allen said he’s excited with the new opportunity, but admits that “I will always have a fondness for Spencer Hospital and the many people who make it a quality organization.”
Good Samaritan Health Systems is a regional, non-profit health care provider serving about 250-thousand people in central and western Nebraska and northern Kansas.
