(Spirit Lake)– Additional money is being put forth for a reward for any information that leads to the arrest of whoever’s responsible in the shooting of a horse and cat August 2nd at a residence at 2443 202nd Street east of Arnolds Park.
The Tom Ritzer family is offering an additional one thousand dollars for the reward–bringing it to two thousand dollars.
That’s in addition to a 200-dollar reward being offered by the Dickinson County Crimestoppers program.
The horse was treated on the scene by a veterinarian; the cat died.
Authorities say the shooting is believed to have taken place between 11:15 a.m. and 11:44 a.m. August 2nd.
