(Spencer)– Additional numbers are coming in from this year’s Clay County Fair. 284,405 people attended this year with a new all-time daily attendance record for a Tuesday set on September 15th when 35,345 people went through the gates.
Grandstand events attracted 15,288 people.
There were 460 vendors and concessionaires this year with 50 of those being brand new to the fair.
There were 1,368 open-class exhibitors, up from last year, along with 794 4-H and FFA exhibitors from 48 counties.
738 students and 75 adults participated in FFA Day September 15th and over a thousand 3rd and 4th grade students participated in educational events at this year’s Clay County Fair.
