(Spirit Lake)– The man who heads up the Dickinson County Veterans Services Office says a huge increase in demand for services means his office needs to be open more.
Veterans Services Director John Tonsfeldt Tuesday requested the Board of Supervisors increase the hours he works from five to six a day Monday through Friday. He’s also requesting compensation for excess hours put in over the past several years.
The supervisors took no action on either request. Board member June Goldman was absent.
