(Spirit Lake)– Charges have been filed against a fourth person in connection with an alleged incident earlier this month at a Spirit Lake night club.
Police were called to a report of a man allegedly flashing a handgun after getting into a dispute with another person on the dance floor at the Marquee shortly before midnight June 6th.
Officials announced today (Tues.) that 19-year-old Sandy Perez Rodriguez of Sioux Falls has been charged with terrorism, going armed with intent and carrying weapons in connection with the same alleged incident.
Arrested and charged shortly after the alleged incident were 20-year-old Jose Djesus of Sioux Falls who was charged with going armed with intent and unlawfully carrying weapons; 23-year-old Elvis Wayne Dunnley of Sioux Falls who was charged with public intoxication, possession of a controlled substance, marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia; and 22-year-old Jessica Mejias Lavoie of Iona, Minnesota who was charged with possession of a controlled substance, marijuana.
Officials say their investigation is now closed and the case has been turned over to prosecutors.
