(Lake Park)– The Iowa State Patrol has released details into a one-vehicle accident south of Lake Park Sunday that injured two people.
Authorities say 41-year-old Michael Dennert of Lake Park was northbound on county road M-27 about a mile south of Highway nine when he lost control. The 1997 Plymouth he was driving left the road and rolled.
Michael Dennert and a passenger, 49-year-old Colleen Dennert of Lake Park, were taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare. They were then life-flighted to McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.
The vehicle was totaled.
The mishap occurred around 11:50 p.m. Sunday.
Authorities say it remains under investigation.
