“We’ll meet at 6:00 at the shelter house across the street from the Abbie cabin and we’ll talk a little bit, and then we’ll split up and we’ll take walks around the neighborhood and talk about Abbie’s life back here on Pillsbury Point where she lived for several decades.”
Dreier says if it’s been awhile since you’ve heard the story, you may just want to attend Thursday’s event…
“I’m always amazed by how few people really know the Abbie story. Something else is that we know so much more about her life post-massacre than we did even 20 years ago. Our ability to access records online has given us a whole lot of new information and new stories, and we’d love to share them with everyone who’s interested.”
Thursday’s event is free and pre-registration isn’t needed.
