(Spirit Lake)– A proposed 28E agreement that would help fund water quality improvement projects in Dickinson county needs the blessings of one more city council before it can become final.
The Terril city council approved the proposal at a meeting earlier this week. The Lake Park city council will consider the measure this coming Monday.
The 28E has already been approved by the Dickinson county board of supervisors and all of the other cities in the county.
If approved by Lake Park, Dick Ramsey of Citizens Concerned For Water Quality tells KUOO news they’ll immediately start forming a commission that will determine projects to be funded through the 28E.
