(Arnolds Park)– Here’s a sign of things to come.
The first organizational meeting for the upcoming University of Okoboji Winter Games is set for Monday, October 25th in the Hedberg Theatre at the Iowa Welcome Center and Maritime Museum in Arnolds Park. It will begin at 5:30 p.m. and is scheduled to last about an hour.
Other meetings are set for November 22nd, December 13th and January 6th…all at the Hedberg Theatre and all beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Officials say nomination forms for the 2011 University of Okoboji cheerleaders will be available in December with voting taking place at the January meeting.
This will mark the 31st year for the University of Okoboji Winter Games, which will be held Friday, January 28th through Sunday, January 30th, 2011.
