(Sheldon)– A Sanborn woman was injured and faces citations following a single vehicle crash early Saturday in O’Brien county.
Authorities say 23-year-old Aili Koenig was northbound in the 2900 mile of Pierce Avenue when she swerved to miss a deer. The vehicle went into the ditch and rolled, coming to rest on its wheels.
Koenig sustained minor injuries and was taken to the Sheldon hospital. She was cited for driving with a suspended license, operation without registration and no proof of insurance.
