September 11, 2026

(Jackson, Mn.)– Ongoing vandalism has resulted in the city of Jackson shutting down some public restrooms for the rest of the season. City officials say the damage to the facilities at Albertus field has been ongoing despite notices asking for the vandalism to stop.

The statement goes on to say the city understands the closure is an inconvenience for those using Albertus Field and that everyone’s understanding is appreciated.

They ask everyone to respect public facilities and the hard work city crews put in to maintain them.
