(Spencer)– A new business being established in Spencer has been awarded a $12,500 loan through the Spencer Retail Kickstarter program.
Riverside Events, LLC, plans to open a venue for various community events, such as weddings, celebrations and community gatherings.
Retail Kickstarter program partners include the city of Spencer, a number of financial institutions, Spencer Main Street, Spencer Municipal Utilities and the Spencer Chamber. It’s been in existence since 2018 with the goal of recruiting new businesses to Spencer, along with retaining existing ones.
