(Spencer)– Some additional fire hydrant flushing operations are taking place in Spencer.
Officials with Spencer Municipal Utilities say the operations are ongoing from now, Monday, August 31st, through Friday, September 25th, for those areas south of the Little Sioux River.
They add residents in that area of Spencer may temporarily experience low water pressure and discoloration while the operations are taking place in their neighborhood. Residents in that area are also encouraged to put in their basement sewer plugs as a precaution.
