(Spirit Lake)– Hometown Heroes will be going on this (Wed.) evening in Spirit Lake. Krista Smith of the Spirit Lake Chamber of Commerce says it will be taking place from 5:00 until 7:00 pm in the parking lot at the Spirit Lake Elementary School…
“There will be different businesses set up with some games and giveaways, then some big vehicles so some ambulances, fire trucks, police vehicles, the DNR boat, lots of fun things to explore. Kind of like a Touch A Truck event almost where families can come and see those vehicles while they’re safely parked and get to meet our first responders that take care of our community.”
The event is free of charge…
“We are appreciative to Central Bank and Lakes Regional Healthcare for being our event sponsor so yes, it’s free for the community and families to attend.”
A food truck will also be on site.
