Hydrant Flushing Taking Place In A Portion Of Spencer

(Spencer)– Hydrant flushing operations are getting underway in Spencer.

Officials with Spencer Municipal Utilities say the operations will be taking place from now through August 28^th north of the Little Sioux River from West Fourth Street to the west.

They add that residents in that area may experience low water pressure and discoloration while the operations are taking place. They’re also encouraged to put in their basement sewer plugs.
