(Sanborn, Mn.)– An accident Thursday evening in southwest Minnesota involving an all terrain vehicle seriously injured a teen.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a 15-year-old boy was operating a 2015 Polaris Ranger northbound in a ditch parallel to Highway 71 at 240th Street near Sanborn, Minnesota, when he lost control of the ATV, causing it to roll. The juvenile was seriously injured and was taken by ambulance to the Windom hospital.
The Sanborn ambulance, Sanborn Fire Department, Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office and the Minnesota DNR assisted on the scene. The incident took place a little after 7:30 pm.
