(Spencer)– Spencer based Seasons Center is offering a free 90-minute virtual training program to help foster, adoptive, kinship and biological parents better understand how childhood adversity impacts behavior, relationships and emotional well-being. It also provides practical strategies parents can use to strengthen connection with the children in their care.
Rather than focusing solely on behavior, officials with Seasons Center say the training will also emphasize responsive, trauma-informed approaches.
