(Spirit Lake)– A discussion on E-bikes and scooters is on the agenda for Tuesday’s Spirit Lake City Council meeting. Cities throughout the region are considering ordinances to regulate them siting complaints and safety concerns.
In Dickinson county, proponents are calling for an ordinance that would be consistent throughout the county, saying that’s important due to the recreational trails that run through all but two towns. While there have been discussions, none of the cities nor the county have adopted the measure yet.
The Dickinson County Board of Supervisors also meet Tuesday but there’s no mention of it on their agenda.
