(Spencer)– A Wisconsin teen escaped injury in a single vehicle crash Wednesday near the Clay-Buena Vista county line southwest of Rossie.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a 2023 Toyota Tacoma was southbound in the 4400 mile of 170th Avenue when the 15-year-old driver pulled the emergency brake. The vehicle skidded across the gravel road and rolled onto its top in the ditch.
$25,000 in damage was estimated to the vehicle.
A towing service, Spencer Hospital Ambulance and fire and rescue crews from Sioux Rapids and Royal assisted on the scene. The crash took place around 1:45 pm.
