(Mason City)– An investigation is underway after the body of a Spirit Lake man was found at a park in Mason City.
Police in Mason City were notified a little after 1:00 am Wednesday of a man who was found unresponsive on the ground at Lester Milligan Park in Mason City. Officers arrived on the scene and found the man deceased near a vehicle in the park’s parking lot. The man was identified as 47-year-old Bradley Johnson of Spirit Lake.
In a press release, Mason City police say there is no indication of any threat to the public and that no additional people are believed to be involved.
The State Medical Examiner is performing an autopsy as part of the investigation. Authorities say no additional information is being released at this time.
