(Arnolds Park)– We’re learning additional information into a crash Friday night in Arnolds Park involving a golf cart.
Arnolds Park Police Chief Al Kruger tells KUOO news 49-year-old Lisa Anderson of Lake City, Iowa was driving the golf cart on East Broadway at Highway 71 when she lost control, causing it to roll onto its side on the street.
Anderson, along with two adult males and two juvenile males who were passengers, were all ejected from the golf cart. Anderson sustained a non incapacitating injury and was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake. The four passengers declined transport to the hospital.
Kruger says the incident remains under investigation and that charges may be pending.
Arnolds Park police were assisted by Arnolds Park/Okoboji Fire and Rescue, Lakes Regional Healthcare Ambulance and paramedics and Boji Tow Service.
The incident took place around 11:30 pm.
