(Spirit Lake)– A member of Iowa’s Congressional delegation has a special message as the U.S celebrates its 250th anniversary. Senator Chuck Grassley says there’s little doubt in his mind America will see another 250 years…
“I feel very confident we’re going to make another 250 years. I’m confident because of the exceptionalism of America. I don’t mean that we’re exceptional people, but we’ve got an exceptional form of government that allows any body, any where, any time, to become whatever they want to be. We have a system that takes ordinary people that can become very extraordinary.”
Grassley made the comment earlier this week during a visit to Spirit Lake.
