Water Restored To Most Of Orleans Following An Accidental Main Break; Boil Advisory In Effect

(Orleans)– Officials say water service had been restored to roughly 90 percent of Orleans following an accidental water main break earlier today (Thurs.).

Officials with Iowa Lakes Regional Water, which provides service to Orleans, says a boil advisory is in effect as a precaution. They say it will remain in place until tests come back as satisfactory.

They add that crews are continuing to make repairs and that service will be restored to everyone once they’re completed.
