(Okoboji)– Residents in the city of Okoboji may want to do some spring cleaning in coming days. The annual city-wide clean up day is this coming Monday, June 1st for that one day only and is limited to residential areas.
Residents are asked to limit the weight of items, which need to be at the curb no later than the day before the pick up. Planks and boards may not exceed 6 inches in length. Batteries, paint, insecticide cans and other hazardous waste will not be picked up.
Tags are required for appliances, electronics, televisions, stuffed furniture and tires. Tags may be purchased any time of the year at city hall.
