(Emmetsburg)– Disaster assistance centers have been established for Palo Alto county residents impacted by severe weather earlier this week.
Governor Kim Reynolds issued a disaster proclamation for the county allowing eligible residents to apply for assistance through the Iowa Individual Assistance Grant and Disaster Case Advocacy programs.
Palo Alto County officials say an in-person assistance center where residents can meet with advocates and fill out the needed paperwork will be located at the Graettinger City Hall on Wednesday, May 27th. The center will be open from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm.
