(Des Moines)– The Iowa Economic Development Authority today (Friday) awarded a $387,000 Community Attraction and Tourism (CAT) Grant to the Dickinson County Nature Center’s Nature Playscape project.
The nature-based outdoor playscape includes design features for sensory exploration and multigenerational play, utilizing native plantings and natural materials.
The project has a total cost of $1.93 million. As we reported previously, construction could start this fall or next spring, depending upon fundraising.
