IEDA Approves Assistance For Rosenboom Milford Expansion

May 15, 2026

(Des Moines)– The Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) today (Fri.) approved a little more than $1.35 million in tax credits to Rosenboom Machine and Tool for an expansion of its operations in a new facility in Milford.

The company, which has operations locally in Spirit Lake and Sheldon, manufactures engineered hydraulic cylinders and precision-machined components.

As we reported previously, Rosenboom Machine and Tool plans to acquire the former Oak Hill Outdoors facility in Milford. The $19.07 million capital investment is expected to create 78 jobs with wages of $25.54 per hour. Company President Brian Rosenboom outlined the timeline for the project at a Milford City Council meeting late last month…

The expansion project in Milford includes building improvements and the relocation and installation of advanced manufacturing equipment, material handling systems and warehousing infrastructure. Company officials say the expansion won’t affect operations at the Spirit Lake and Sheldon locations.
