(Arnolds Park)– The city of Arnolds Park is increasing the fines associated with parking tickets. The current $25 fine is going to $30, and if the ticket isn’t paid within 30 days, the fee doubles to $60.
It’s one of several ordinance revisions the city council unanimously adopted Wednesday evening. Others establish new no parking zones along Hinshaw Street near the new fire station. Another requires golf carts being operated on city streets to be equipped with child restraint devices; while the final one prohibits illegal storm water and sump pump connections to the sanitary sewer system.
