(Spencer)– Fire Wednesday evening heavily damaged a house in Spencer. Assistant Spencer Fire Chief Mark Stover says they were called around 6:30 pm to 326 East 19th Street…
Flames at one point were said to be going some 20 feet high. Stover says no one was injured…
The dog was also said to be okay. Some heat damage was also reported to some siding on a neighboring home to the east.
Stover says the cause of the fire for now, at least, is going down as undetermined.
The Fostoria Fire Department provided mutual aid. Firefighters were on the scene a couple of hours.
The Spencer Police Department, an ambulance and paramedics from Spencer Hospital and Spencer Municipal Utilities assisted on the scene.
