A Busy Intersection On The West Side Of Milford Is Now A 4-Way Stop

May 11, 2026

(Milford)– Here’s another heads up for motorists: the intersection of Dickinson County Road A-34, or 220th
Street, and 213th Avenue near the new Okoboji Elementary School, is now officially a four-way stop. Previously, only north-south traffic was required to stop at that intersection. Now, east and west bound traffic on 220th Street is ALSO required to stop.

As we reported previously, the Board of Supervisors voted 5-0 last week to make the change, at the request of the city of Milford, out of safety concerns.
