(Spirit Lake)– There will soon be a vacancy on the Spirit Lake School Board. Teresa Beck has announced she’ll be stepping down effective May 11th after serving 15 years on the board, with 9 and-a-half of those as Board President.
In a statement, Beck says it was an honor for her to serve the community, adding she is proud of what the district has accomplished during her time on the board.
A press release says the board intends to fill the vacancy in accordance with district policy. It goes on to say that additional information regarding the application and appointment process will be forthcoming.
