SL Noon Kiwanis Gearing Up For Easter Egg Hunt

March 23, 2026

(Spirit Lake) The Spirit Lake Noon Kiwanis is holding their annual Easter Egg Hunt at 10:00 AM on Saturday March 28th at the Bedell Family YMCA soccer fields. Kiwanis member Becky Gaskill says a special guest will also be making an appearance…

“You’ll want to come a little early. We’ll have thousands of eggs, but we start right at ten and they disappear quickly. It is for ages. Up to eight can participate. But parents, grandparents, older siblings are welcome to come and cheer them on and get a picture with the Easter Bunny after the hunt is done.”

Gaskill says the Easter Egg Hunt will go on no matter what the weather is like on the day of the event…

“The event happens, rain or shine. Thank you to the YMCA for letting us use their facilities. That’s how we’re able to do that. Also, thank you from the Spirit Lake Kiwanis. Come on out and check us out if you want to make a difference in the community with kids, we’ve got lots of options where you can meet with us and join and help out the community.”

The event features three age divisions which are 2 and under, 3 to 5 years and 6 to 8 and Children should bring their own baskets to gather eggs that will be spread across the youth soccer fields. In the event of inclement weather the event will be moved inside the Bedell Family YMCA.
